Verizon Comes Clean About Employees Who Accessed Obama’s Cell Phone Account
Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ) issued a statement today that acknowledged some of its employees accessed the personal cell phone account of President-Elect Barack Obama. President and CEO Lowell McAdam stated:
The strange thing about this situation with the Verizon employees being fired is that this was an account that any employee at Verizon could access. It was not a secured account which is what Verizon has for it's government accounts. Why would they still have this not secured after Obama has been in the public eye for a couple of years??
