Vivendi Keen To Buy Out Vodafone’s Stake In SFR

Vivendi chief executive Jean-Bernard Levy has said that the company is interested in buying Vodafone’s 44 percent stake in French mobile phone company SFR. “If Vodafone … wants to sell its stake, we are ready to buy it…I don’t think this minority participation is meant to last“, he told a French paper, reports Reuters. But apparently Vodafone is interested in raising its stake in the company, which is the second largest mobile operator in France.
