Baidu Rival Zhongsou to Acquire Classfied Portal, Seeks Listing

This we missed last week: Zhongsou.com, a local rival to China’s search firm Baidu.com, is in the final stages of talks to acquire online classifieds portal Ccoo.cn, reports Reuters. Zhongsou — whose shareholders include Legend Capital and IDG — is hoping for an IPO in 2007.
