Blogs As Media Bubble Business 2.0, Or Something Like That
I know this may sound disingenuous, but I’ll say it anyway: even I am a bit creeped out with rampantly commercial, moneymaking-in-sixty-days tone of this Business 2.0 story. I’m all for business, I’ve been running a commerical blog/media business for almost three years (four years since it started, three full time business), but this is bit much. Some good, hard numbers, though, and not as speculative as the BusinessWeek-Digg story.
Couple of things I’ll add, again, at the cost of sounding patronizing: it is not entrepreneurship/journalism by poolside; and as an business adjunct: leave some money on the table. It always helps. I’ll shut up now.
