Delhi Mixer in December: Venue And Other Suggestions Needed
So much like our Delhi mixer last year in mid December, we are planning another one this year around the same time. I know, we promised to come to Mumbai this year, but my trip to India is short and I have to meet family etc as well, near Delhi…Mumbai would consume too much time. At least I am giving enough advance notice for those who want to come down for the mixer, from there and elsewhere. Also, we are thinking of adding a small panel programme to the mixer, with guest speakers etc.
So we need some suggestions on venue spaces in Delhi, and who to invite for speakers and the topic (s). Also, some help in underwriting the mixer would be good too…we would probably double the size this year, as our audience has increased dramatically since last year. Hey IHC (India Habitat Center) will be a good place or IIC (India Inetranational Center) , , , I"ll keep you posted about the suggestions in some time.
Hey Rafat, I think we shall organize it at IHC (Indian Habitat). should keep IIC as a second option just like we did last year. Secondly, regarding the speakers I have some people in Mind.

I agree with Vikrandt, lets not have the same old media domination like last year Indiatimes this and indiatimes that…ad nauseum..just because they sponsored the event.. lets focus on blog businesses, local social networks, search engines, chat, sites, new media in electronic media, and of course the next face of e commerce in the country, mobile payment

No one sponsored the mixer last year…I sponsored out of my own pocket :)
Your point is taken though..things have certainly changed on the startups front in the last year.

Awaiting the details, i think now that IHC or IIC have been sealed or should be sealed fast else availability is an issue.
