Online Multiplayer Games Firms Red 5 Studios Gets $8.9 Million Funding

Red 5 Studios, an Aliso Viejo, CA-based developer of online multiplayer games, has secured $8.87 million of an $18.47 million first round, according to SEC filings, picked up by PEWNews. The round was led by Benchmark Capital.
The founders previously worked on World of Warcraft.
