SinglePoint Mobile Media North-America, recently acquired by Wireless Services Corporation, is an interactive media company that develops and implements innovative mobile applications based on cross-carrier premium messaging capabilities. We currently are providing our services to content providers, major media and marketing companies on television, in print, on the web, as well as, for major consumer products. Examples of mobile applications could be text messaging voting and sweepstakes, ringtones, wallpapers, games, and streaming video. The applications are supported on all major U.S. carrier networks.

SinglePoint is seeking a Director of Marketing
Summary: This position is responsible for leading the marketing team, which includes roles responsible for the coordination and implementation of marketing programs, campaigns, and events; event coordination, website management and copywriting; creating and managing collateral; public relations and monitoring of competitive marketing, research. This individual will directly manage the Marketing Events Coordinator and Marketing Graphic Designer, as well as oversee, if not directly manages multiple marketing vendors. This individual must be detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and activities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
– Marketing Team Management – Direct Marketing team; directly oversee and manage marketing team members.
– Marketing Budget – In coordination with the VP – Marketing & Product Strategy, develop, update, and manage toward annual Marketing budget.
– Marketing Vendor Coordination – With the help of either the VP – Marketing & Product Strategy and/or team members, if not directly, manage multiple marketing vendors, including those enabling Public Relations, Research, event support companies, graphic/Web design, and collateral development.
– Market Segmentation and Competitive Positioning – Create marketing messaging, roadmap; create customer segmentation, ensuring coordination with overall WSC/SinglePoint market and customer goals; hold overarching responsibility for the creation and implementation of marketing plans that ensure positioning against competitors. Develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization. Establishes and maintains consistent corporate image throughout all corporate product lines, promotional materials, company website and events. Ensure all content of messaging vehicles are consistent and reflect desired image and message.
– Marketing Industry and Trend Positioning – Follows industry trends to define marketing requirements. Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions. Monitors competitive products and marketing activities and provides competitive intelligence to the rest of the organization. Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
– BA/BS in Marketing required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
– 5-7 years marketing experience in services marketing, emphasis on content media a plus.
– Solid understanding of marketing and direct marketing principles. Familiarity working on marketing campaign and lead generation initiatives.
– Ability to understand complex technologies and communicate with internal and/or external technical organizations.
– Experience managing a Marketing team as well as vendor management.
– Strong project management skills and ability to champion projects across the organization.
– Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications.
– Basic HTML editing (knowledge of general HTML structure – not necessarily coding proficiency).
– Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills.
– Team player and customer-service oriented.
Organizational Relationship:
Reports directly to the Vice President, Marketing & Product Strategy
